    With over a decade of experience, Lauren Coats is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and the owner and clinical director of Rockwall Counseling & Wellness and Wylie Counseling & Wellness. She is deeply passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families create lasting, meaningful change in their lives.

    Sara Healey is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is deeply passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma, regain their sense of self, and build a future free from the burdens of the past.

    Sara specializes in working with survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence, as well as individuals navigating PTSD, perinatal trauma, anxiety, and depression.     Byron Prescott is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is an integral part of Wylie Counseling and Wellness, helping clients transform their lives through goal-setting, self-improvement, and emotional healing.

    Byron specializes in working with young men who want to build stronger relationships, achieve personal and professional goals, and create a healthier, more fulfilling life. He believes in fostering resilience, accountability, and confidence in his clients, guiding them toward lasting change.

    As an EMDR-trained therapist, Byron is passionate about helping men and women process and heal from trauma, abuse, and PTSD. He works closely with active and former military personnel, first responders, and individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress, providing a structured yet compassionate approach to recovery.

    In addition to his clinical work, Byron is currently training his dog, Molly, who will soon join Wylie Counseling and Wellness as our first certified Therapy Dog! 🐾 Molly will bring warmth, comfort, and emotional support to our clients on their healing journeys.

    Jessica is a Master’s-level intern at Wylie Counseling & Wellness, currently completing her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Amberton University. She is under the supervision of Lauren Coats, M.S., LPC-S, as she gains hands-on experience in the field. Jessica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Christian Studies, from Howard Payne University, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, mental health, and the integration of faith in personal growth.

    Jessica works with teens and adults, helping them navigate life’s challenges with compassion and practical support. She has a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing various types of grief, whether from the loss of a loved one, major life transitions, or personal hardships. She understands the deep emotional toll grief can take and is committed to providing a safe, compassionate space where clients can process their emotions and find healing.

    Mariah is a Master’s-level intern at Wylie Counseling & Wellness, currently completing her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Amberton University. She is under the supervision of Natalie Shepherd, LPC-S, LMFT-S, RPT-S, as she gains practical experience in the counseling field. Mariah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciencesfrom Texas Tech University, with concentrations in Human Development and Family Studies, Personal Finance, and Psychology. She also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, giving her a broad understanding of both individual and systemic wellness.

    Mariah brings a unique perspective to counseling through her prior work in the corporate world, where she served in operations and human resources roles. This experience allows her to support clients navigating career transitions, workplace stress, and the challenges of balancing personal and professional responsibilities.

    Mariah works with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, helping them address a wide range of concerns including grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship dynamics, and boundary-setting. She provides evening and weekend appointments to accommodate clients with full schedules.
